How We Got Here
Kelty Co., Inc. was founded in 2006 by Eric Keller, who leads the company today as President. From the start, the focus has been narrow and deliberate: commercial construction only, for owners, builders, and developers who need a contractor to manage a project from design through move-in.
That focus has held for two decades. Kelty Co holds an active CSLB General Building license (#874266) that has stayed in good standing since the company’s founding, and many of its client relationships have lasted well over a decade.
Several clients working with Kelty today were working with Eric Keller before the company was even incorporated.
Who's Behind the Work
Eric Keller, President
Eric Keller founded Kelty Co. and continues to lead the company as President. He remains actively engaged in the company’s projects, maintaining close relationships with clients and a hands-on role in day-to-day operations.
Griffin Keller, Vice President
Griffin Keller serves as Vice President, bringing a comprehensive understanding of every facet of the business. A graduate of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, he is known for his detail-oriented approach and commitment to operational efficiency.
Ross Ward, Senior Project Manager
Ross Ward brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role as Senior Project Manager. A key member of the Kelty Co. team since its inception, Ross is a graduate of the University of Oregon and is recognized for his professionalism and focus on customer satisfaction.

Every Kelty Co project runs through the same discipline: design consultation, permitting, bidding, subcontractor management, scheduling, and closeout, all managed under one point of accountability. Clients don’t have to coordinate separate parties or chase down status updates. That approach is why so many of our relationships span a decade or more, and why clients describe working with us as low oversight and low stress, not something they have to manage from the outside.
Rooted in Long Beach
Kelty Co. has been based in Signal Hill since its founding, and its principals stay active in the local community, supporting organizations including Children Today, Memorial Medical Center Foundation, YMCA of Greater Long Beach and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
